Blackhawk Christian School Alumnus:

We trust that this letter finds you and your family eagerly looking forward to what God has in store for you in 2012.  One of BCS’s annual highlights of the year is coming quickly – Homecoming 2012!  We really look forward to this event, which will take place this year on Saturday, February 18.  Each year becomes more special and distinctive as our alumni numbers continue to grow.  (BCS alumni now number more than 1032.) 

We invite you to come and share in the excitement of this occasion.  The festivities get underway with the Alumni Basketball Game set to begin at 2:00 p.m. in the high school gym.  The JV and Varsity Basketball teams will be in action against Hamilton beginning at 6:00 p.m.  The traditional presentation of the Homecoming Court will take place between JV and Varsity games at approximately 7:00 p.m.  Since Homecoming is your night, we want to provide you an opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and faculty.  The library will have refreshments to enjoy during the JV and Varsity games.  Text your former classmates and make plans to catch up with them at Homecoming 2012!   We are expecting a full house, so plan to come early to find a seat. 

In an effort to keep in touch with our alumni, we are updating our contact information.  At Homecoming, please stop in the library, meet our new Alumni Relations Director, Courtney (Taylor ’97) Smeltzer, and update your information.  If you are unable to attend, please update your information by using the online form on our website www.blackhawkchristian.org/alumni.  Thank you for helping us keep our alumni information current.
