MIddle/High School Chapel
BCS Middle/High School chapels are designed to be exciting and engaging. Our hope and desire is that every Wednesday from 12:05 to 12:47 would be the high point of our school week as we worship through prayer, music, media, testimony and primarily THE WORD! Speakers share on various topics which a group of students have determined.
This year’s theme is “Cross the Barrier.” We look to Christ as he provides the way for believers to bridge the gap between God and us. Christ also makes a way to mend our broken human relationships.
A group of students began praying and planning this past summer. Thirteen of those students have formed a class which meets daily to pray and plan.
The goal is that believers would be encouraged and challenged and that unbelievers would be presented the gospel. The corporate worship time includes a variety of forms.
BCS students are also divided into cell groups called CONNECT. These male or female groups meet periodically to build unity and community. CONNECT groups include students from 9-12 with the middle school students having groups of their own.
Visitors and parents are welcome and encouraged to attend chapel. It is a good idea to call ahead to make sure that there has not been a schedule change.
