Early Childhood Class Options


Preschool Classes Available:

2011 – 2012 School Year
2-day Morning Class: 2½ and 3-year-olds Must be 3 by Feb 1st, 2012 and POTTY-TRAINED M, W 8:20—11:20 am
3-day Morning Class: 3 & 4-year-olds 3 by Aug 1st M, W, F 8:20—11:20 am
4-day Morning Class: 4 & 5-year-olds 4 by Aug 1st M, T, W, F 8:20—11:20 am
5-day Morning Class: 4 & 5-year-olds 4 by Aug 1st M, T, W,TH, F 8:20—11:20 am
3-day Afternoon Class: 3 & 4-year-olds 3 by Aug 1st M, W, F 12:10—3:10 pm
4-day Afternoon Class: 4 & 5-year-olds 4 by Aug 1st M, T, W, F 12:10—3:10 pm
5-day Afternoon Class: 4 & 5-year-olds 4 by Aug 1st M - F 12:10—3:10 pm

Extended Care Options:

Add to the Preschool schedule to cover the days to fit your family schedule.

Morning Extended Care:

  • For children enrolled in a morning preschool class 2 or 3 days a week who need a full week option.
  • Also available for children enrolled in afternoon Preschool classes.

Morning Extended Care includes a balance of hands-on activities, large motor time, crafts, music, story time, play and snack time provided by the school.

1, 2, 3, 4,or 5-day Morning Extended Care 8:20 – 12:10 pm

Afternoon Extended Care:

  • For children enrolled in a morning preschool class.
  • Also for children enrolled in afternoon Preschool classes but need a full week option.

Afternoon Extended Care includes lunchtime, with lunches brought from home, followed by a rest time. The remainder of the school day is a balance of recess, hands-on activities, crafts, music, story time & play.

1, 2, 3, 4,or 5-day Afternoon Extended Care 11:20 – 3:10 pm

The enrollment process includes:

  1. Fill out an Enrollment form.
  2. Complete Tuition Payment Information form.
  3. Pay an enrollment fee of $45 per child.
    (Checks should be made payable to: Blackhawk Christian School)
  4. BCS will confirm enrollment.
  5. Families will be contacted to confirm enrollment.
  6. Information packets, along with health forms and handbook, will be mailed to all Early Childhood families in August .
