Secondary Academics
Welcome to the Office of Student Services. Serving mainly secondary students and their parents, it is my desire as Director of Student Services to help them achieve academic excellence according to the abilities God has given. Student services are primarily provided in three academic areas: record keeping and publishing of past performances, monitoring current progress and needs, and preparing for future educational and career endeavors.
The academic program at the secondary school level is designed primarily for college preparation. Courses are offered in alignment with the Indiana Department of Education so that students can pass the ISTEP+ Graduation Qualifying Exam and graduate with either a Core 40 Diploma or Core 40 with Academic Honors Diploma. The curriculum is chosen to meet the rigorous academic level for such an endeavor allowing experienced Christian educators, through Biblical integration, to use it as a tool in accomplishing our motto of “Academic Excellence on a Biblical Foundation”. It is our desire to see students academically prepared to be successful at the college of their choice or to immediately join the workforce. You will find more information about our secondary curriculum, course descriptions, graduation requirements, and other secondary student academic issues by checking out the downloads below.
Grace and Peace,
Jeff Kowatch
