Jog-a-thon
This annual event involving all BCS (preK-12th) students and staff is another revenue source to help bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a BCS Christian education. Students and staff take pledges from friends of BCS including family and friends and these funds are allocated to the highest priority needs at all grade levels.
2011 Jog-athon In Review
Wow!! It was so encouraging to see Steve Longbrake, Happy Walts and Aida Toffolo traveling around in the golf cart and realize that the same God who blessed their efforts in 1973 is still blessing our school today. Together we pledged $88,768!!! Praise the Lord. Part of the tribute written by Abbe Starr stuck with me all day is this statement; “We may have switched chalkboards and erasers, with Smartboards and Mac Books, but we will without compromise continue to provide a Christ-centered education for our students.”
