Amanda (Mandy) Cloud

Hello friends! I’m Mrs. Cloud and this is my sixth year at Blackhawk Christian School’s Preschool Academy.

A little bit about me: I grew up in the Chicago suburbs. I met my husband Chris while completing my undergraduate degrees at Taylor University (Upland). We got married in 2004 and stayed in Upland for a couple more years while I completed my Master’s degree at Ball State. The Lord then moved us to Fort Wayne in 2006 for my husband to complete his graduate degree at IPFW, through which he found a job here in Allen County and we have been here ever since.

In my free time, I like hang out with my family - we like to garden, ride roller coasters, and play Lazer Tag. In addition to assisting Mrs. Treesh in the Studio classroom, I also get to work part time at Blackhawk Ministries on their missions team.

We were first introduced to Blackhawk Christian School when we enrolled our son in the preschool (I love to look back at those “first day” pictures - he was so little!). He is now in 7th grade at BCS and our daughter is in 5th. We love how God is honored and glorified here at BCS and I feel blessed that I get to be a part of this community!
