Justin Brown

I graduated from Huntington University with a Youth Ministry Degree and then did a lot of random jobs for the next 10 years or so. I decided to go back to school and get a Transition to Teaching Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I then taught at Northcrest for 5 years before becoming a part of the Blackhawk Christian School family. I am excited and humbled for the opportunity to come teach at BCS.
About me:
I grew up around Fort Wayne and have been involved in youth-related activities for many years and love to see kids who love to learn new things. I like to play board games and almost any sport that you can imagine. I love playing Legos with my daughters and going on bike rides. I have been married to my lovely wife (Theresa) for almost 18 years and we have three awesome girls: Eden, Naomi, and Corah; and one boy: Micah.  He is almost a year old and is so adventurous. We have lived in Huntertown area for over 12 years and love to go on walks and ride bikes around town. Our favorite adventures are to the ice cream shop and the many parks in town. I love to play basketball and chess. My favorite book series are Chronicles of Narnia and Wingfeather Saga. I like to listen to podcasts and audiobooks about culture and Christianity. My favorite musicians to listen to are Rich Mullins, Andrew Peterson, For King and Country, Indelible Grace, and Sovereign Grace. I can't wait to hear about your life and interests as well.
