It's not too late to register for our annual STEM camp, Camp Invention, held at our intermediate building that will take place June 5-9. This year's theme is "Wonder" and has four new modules that our campers will experience. The modules are "Catching Air" where campers will build their own skate park, "Invention Celebration" in which campers will become an event planner, "Mimic Bot" where campers will make their own stuffie robot, and "Pop-Up Venture" in which campers learn how to become entrepreneurs. All four modules will be filled with STEM activities. While camp is for children who have completed grades K-5, students who have completed grades 6-8 can still participate in camp but will be Leaders-in-Training. LIT's will still get to do all of the modules and activities but will be paired with younger students to assist them if needed. Those campers get to come at a significant discount since they will be helping. High school students can register, as well, and will be Leadership Interns. There is no cost for them and they will receive 40 hours of credit for National Honors Society as well as a letter of recommendation from the National Inventors Hall of Fame that can be used for college and job applications. Registration can take place by using the QR code on the above flier or at invent.org . Questions can be directed to Heidi Good at [email protected].
