Champions of Character Classic
The high school boys varsity basketball team will participate in the Champions of Character Classic this Saturday, December 13 at Grace College at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.
Tickets are available for purchase now online. Each game will also be livestreamed (HD) online as a pay-per-view option. Admittance into each game is $10.
The tournament is named the Champions of Character Classic in connection with the IHSAA's initiatives of sportsmanship and character building among high school teams. Each team will also select a Champion of Character Award winner, who will be honored prior to tipoff before every matchup.
Below is the complete game schedule for the 2025 Champions of Character Classic:
2:00 PM - Snider vs Chesterton
3:45 PM - Blackhawk Christian vs Warsaw
5:30 PM - Northridge vs Brownsburg
7:15 PM - Riley vs Homestead
Boys Soccer State Champs Recognition
The State Champion Boys Soccer team will be honored in two different settings in the upcoming week. Fort Wayne's mayor Sharon Tucker plans to visit Blackhawk Christian School this Friday, December 12 to formally recognize the team. Then, on Friday December 19th at halftime of the boys home basketball game vs. Canterbury, we will have a recognition for the boys soccer team and coaches.
