Alýssa Davenport

My name is Alýssa Davenport, and I’ve been a preschool teacher for 17 years. I graduated from Ivy Tech with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and for the past 6 years, I've had the joy of teaching at Blackhawk Christian. I truly believe that the early years are some of the most important in a child’s life, and I’m passionate about creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to grow.

Outside the classroom, I’m married to my wonderful husband Ryan, and we have two amazing children and a lovable dog. I love to read and spend time with my family.
