Michelle Barrand

I started at Blackhawk Christian preschool academy as a preschool shepherd in 2018 and have greatly enjoyed getting to know our youngest learners here at Blackhawk! Prior to Blackhawk I taught preschool when my children were of preschool age and later began in-home childcare, which I still do two days a week.
I married my high school sweetheart, Seth, in 1996 and we have three children who have all attended Blackhawk Christian school. Colton, (class of 2020), Gage (class of 2021) and Maya (class of 2025).

I enjoy the beach on a warm day, taking our family dog on walks and scrapbooking our family photos.

We have attended Fellowship Missionary Church since 1992. I am thankful for the school and the opportunity to serve the Kingdom in this way. My favorite verse is II Corinthians 5:7 which reminds me to always trust God through all situations.
