Personal bio

After graduating from Fort Wayne North Side, I attended IPFW for 2 years before heading to southern Illinois where I graduated from Greenville College with a degree in biology and education. I came back to northern Indiana and taught several years in public education in Columbia City before coming to BCS in 1997. For several years now, I have taught middle school science along with high school physics and have coached a variety of sports – track, cross country, softball, and basketball; and I build the sets for the BCS theater productions.   While at Greenville I met my wife, Kristen, who is director of marketing at Visit Fort Wayne. We enjoy the blessing of time with our son, Will, who is a student here at Blackhawk.
