Mrs. Erica Sefton

Hello! What an amazing calling it is to teach at Blackhawk Christian School! This is my 7th year at BCS teaching art. I am married to my college sweetheart Jay Sefton. He teaches Government and Econ, Personal Finance and Digital Citenship at BCS high school. We have 4 children who attend BCS, Gage 15, Bryce 14, Drake 11, and Ciera 9. We believe we are a family on mission, serving under the calling God has placed on our hearts to teach at Blackhawk Christian School. One of my favorite verses I use often in my art classes is Isaiah 64:8 "But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand."

 

   A little bit about me...:) I love people and I love every minute I can get with family and friends! I love being in the big, beautiful world God created for us adventuring with my family, because God is the most amazing artist! I also enjoy reading God's word, crafting/creating art, yoga, spinning classes, reading fiction, mural hunting, taking pictures, live music, sunsets, and patio nights under string lights. Our family is very active in sports, my husband and I met at Bethel University where he played basketball and I played volleyball. Our kids now keep us busy chasing them around watching their various sports and activities. We are humbled and blessed to be part of the Bhawk family with you!:)
