Joel Cotton, Athletic Director

My name is Joel Cotton and I serve as the Athletic Director at Blackhawk Christian School.  My wife Jennifer and I have been married for 17 years.  We have 4 children.  The oldest 3 attend BCS with Caden in 6th grade, Addison 3rd grade, and Landon in 1st grade.  Our youngest is Eden, who turns 1 in September.  It gives us great joy to know that our children are being taught each day by staff who love the Lord and we are thankful for the partnership as we raise our children to know Jesus.

 

Athletics has been a big part of my life for over 35 years.  As an athlete, I was taught lifelong lessons and received lifelong memories from the relationships that I had with coaches and teammates.  It is my passion to help provide a memorable student-athlete experience for each student that chooses to participate in athletics at BCS.  Our mission is simple.  We want to give our best effort to bring glory to God in everything we do.
