Athletics

Success in sports can be defined in many different ways.  In aligning with the mission of Blackhawk Christian School, it is important for our athletes and coaches to prepare their hearts and minds to serve Christ.  Through giving our best effort and having a Christ-like attitude, Blackhawk Christian athletes and coaches can serve Christ through participation and competition in athletics. Success in sports at Blackhawk Christian is for everyone to give their best effort for the Lord, while seeking to glorify God with a Christ-like attitude.

Joel Cotton

Athletic Director

Our Best for His Glory

This motto captures the heart and soul of our athletic program.  We desire to develop a Christ-like character among our student athletes and encourage them to nurture their God-given athletic abilities to their maximum potential.  The purpose of everything we do is to see that God receives the glory.

As a member of the IHSAA (Indiana High School Athletic Association), Blackhawk Christian School provides athletic competition in 20 sports at the high school level.  Our student-athletes and coaches have worked together to achieve 66 Sectional Championships, 25 Regional Championships, 9 Semi-State Championships, and 8 State Championships!  We also offer 11 sports at the middle school.

ONLINE ATHLETICS REGISTRATION

FinalForms

We are very excited to announce that the Blackhawk Christian Athletic Department has partnered with FinalForms,
an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.

You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any update.

All required paperwork for athletics can be submitted on Final Forms. This includes uploading the sports physical for your student. Sports physicals obtained after April 1, 2023 are valid for the 2023-24 school year.

There is a registration fee per student, per school year of $7.

Please select which sports your student plans to participate in for 2023-24 (this can be edited at a later date if they change their mind). The sport listing for BCS is below.

Click on the Parent Playbook (at the link below) to get started in FinalForms. If you require any support during the process, scroll to the page bottom-right and click “Get Help”.

We are asking that ALL parents of athletes use FinalForms.

Please register at:

https://blackhawkchristian-in.finalforms.com/

and follow the prompts to create your account, create your students and sign your forms. Thank you for your assistance in streamlining our paperwork processes at BCS.
