The Arts

We believe that the educational experience is enhanced by the inclusion of the arts. At the intermediate levels, we offer our students opportunities to develop their creative skills through art, music, and performance. In light of that:
  • All students have art class once a week.
  • General music classes are offered twice a week grades 2-5
  • Sixth Grade Band meets twice a week with multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year.
  • Sixth Grade Choir meets once a week with multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year. 
  • Fourth Grade students receive instruction in recorder use.  This instruction culminates with a school-wide performance in the Spring.
  • Intermediate students also have the ability to perform in high school musicals.  Most roles for younger students are small.  Students must audition for roles.
